Running in

There seems to be a slight difference in the Motorcycle operation manual in English and the one in Greek.
The one in English actually gives a recommended maximum speed during Running in.
0-500km no more than 40kmh and 501-1000 no more than 55kmh

WTF!!!

I just translated the spanish voge 300ds owners manual and it states the exact same things you say for the brake in period

0-500km no more than 40kmh and 501-1000 no more than 55kmh

I believe the problem is that most riders do not realize that low gear (therefore low speed) work is required .
It's not just a case of making the km, but making sure that you have used the full range of the gear box so as to fully run it in .
